Every downtime counts in a crushing plant – and this is exactly where the Lasertronik measuring device shows its advantages. The system records the material flow on the conveyor belt (volume/throughput) without contact and provides permanently usable production data for shift reports, performance records, optimization, and also for traceable quantity billing.
Because there are no mechanical weighing components working in the material path, there is no typical wear on weighing rollers/load cells and no additional maintenance work, which quickly becomes an issue with dusty, wet, or abrasive material.
In a direct comparison, the difference is particularly evident in mobile plants: Traditional belt scales are often sensitive to vibrations during crushing operations, less-than-horizontal installation, changing belt conditions, and frame distortion.
In practice, there are other typical disruptive factors, such as dust and deposits on the sensor area under the belt, winter conditions (moisture, icing), or drifting values due to dirt and mechanical influences.
This often leads to calibration efforts, implausible measured values, or measurement failures.
The Lasertronik system circumvents these weaknesses by design: contactless, without a sensor “under the belt,” quickly retrofittable, and thus significantly more robust for tough everyday plant operation—with more stable data and fewer discussions about measurement quality with your customers.
